How much does breast augmentation in Korea cost?
There is no single verified price covering every clinic and procedure in this directory. Request a written quote after assessment, separating the surgeon, facility, anaesthesia, implant or fat-transfer method, tests, medicines and follow-up. Add flights, accommodation, local transport and a contingency for a longer stay. Compare what is included before comparing totals.

Plan for what comes next.
Request the same information from each clinic
Ask for the total in Korean won, the date the quote expires, the proposed procedure and the name of the operating surgeon. Request separate confirmation of surgeon and facility fees, anaesthesia, the implant or fat-grafting method, preoperative tests, medicines, support garments and postoperative appointments. If an item is described as included, ask whether limits apply.
Understand what changes the price
A first-time augmentation and a complex revision are different operations. A lift, capsule treatment, implant removal, asymmetry correction or liposuction for fat transfer may alter the plan and cost. Comparing a simple augmentation quote with a combined procedure can be misleading. Ask the surgeon to state which components are clinically recommended and which are optional.
Budget beyond the operating room
Include accommodation, local transport, a support person if needed, changes to flights, meals and time away from work. Keep a contingency for an extended stay. Confirm whether translation is included during the consultation, consent process, postoperative visits and urgent calls. These are planning categories, not a claim that every clinic provides them.
Ask about future costs before paying
Request the written deposit, cancellation and refund terms. Separate a manufacturer’s device warranty from a clinic’s surgical revision policy: they may cover different things. Ask who pays for surgeon fees, anaesthesia, a replacement device, hospital care and travel if further treatment becomes necessary. A promise of a free revision is incomplete without those details.
Keep a record you can use
Save the quote, consent documents, invoice, implant information if applicable, operative summary and emergency contact instructions. Do not rely on a disappearing chat or a verbal promise. The comparison tool helps organise published service information; your final decision should use the written clinical plan and quote supplied directly by each clinic.
Use a like-for-like quote worksheet.
Ask each clinic to complete the same categories. Compare the scope first and the total second. If one quote includes a lift, revision work or additional donor areas and another does not, the figures are not directly comparable. Keep the original Korean-won quote alongside any conversion into your home currency.
| Quote item | Written confirmation to request |
|---|---|
| Procedure and surgeon | The exact operation, named surgeon and any optional additions. |
| Device or fat-transfer method | The included device or processing method and charges for changes. |
| Anaesthesia and facility | Who provides care and whether the quoted fee includes these services. |
| Tests, medicines and garments | Included items, quantities and charges for replacements or extra tests. |
| Follow-up and interpretation | Number of reviews, language support and what happens after departure. |
| Deposit and cancellation | Payment schedule, currency, cancellation terms and refund process. |
| Further treatment | Separate responsibilities under the clinic policy and any device warranty. |
Keep an additional travel budget rather than treating flights and accommodation as part of the surgical price. Ask whether a change after the in-person examination will require a revised quote and whether you can decline the revised plan. Do not assume that a promotional package covers complications, an extended stay or treatment in your home country. These questions are useful even when two clinics advertise the same starting price.
